Episode 27: The Best Is Yet To Come

For my KAL, you will need 100-150 yarns of worsted weight yarn (I'm using Lion Brand Wool-Ease Worsted in the Heather Gray Colorway) and a set of US 5 DPNs or circulars.
I'll also be participating in as many other podcaster's KALs as possible, and you should too!

Nursing School:
First full week is done! Passed my Validation with flying colors, and next week I'll be doing my hospital Orientation. Can't wait :-)

Trying to decide whether to rip out the shawl and just do miles and miles of stockinette to use up all the required yardage. (UPDATE: Decided to frog it. Found a simple stockinette shawl with a pretty lace/bead border. Starting on it now.)
Nursing school is awesome, and I'm loving every minute of it. First Validation on Friday.

Here's the first one:
After Harvey Mudd, it spells the acronym WIBSTR, which stands for "West is Best, Screw the Rest". It's the slogan for one of our dorms (West Dorm, believe it or not).

I love the utter nerdiness of my alma mater :-)
